Political stuff

The last few days in the UK have been...fun. I actually feel more optimistic about the country than I was expecting to. Granted that's still pretty pessimistic, but the explicitly Remain parties had a greater share of the vote than the explicitly Brexit parties. Also the Tories had their worst election result going back to 1832 and if that isn't a reason to feel cheerful I don't know what is.
Corbyn finally seems to realise that people aren't going to vote Labour without knowing what their position is and seems to be starting to give way to the people calling for a second referendum. Given the EU election results that might mean we can just about stop this self-inflicted catastrophe from happening. I can hope so anyway.
