So, for anyone lucky enough to have missed the news, UK democracy is meaningless. Our Prime Minister/Trump wannabe will be suspending Parliament in the runup to the Brexit deadline, presumably because he knows that Parliament would not allow a no-deal Brexit.

There's a petition that any British citizen or UK resident can sign protesting this move, and I'd encourage everyone who can to do so, but it feels pretty hollow. The world is incredibly frightening at the moment.
