My thoughts, for what they're worth -

On reading book 5 of Strike, you could always wait and get hold of a second hand copy or borrow from a library. If you're anything like I was with the HP books though, I get that waiting won't be an appealing option.

When it comes to the film, I'd probably wait and watch it illegally online, but again I get that that might not be an appealing option.

I'm struggling at the moment because I had planned to buy the audiobook of CoS this year, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that. On the one hand the amount that we spend on a single thing she's been involved in is a drop in the ocean to her, but that doesn't change not wanting any of my money to go to a bigot.

So yes, I empathise.
