questionoftheday asks: Do you prefer living in a city or a country environment? Which do you live in now?

My answer: I've recently discovered this about myself: I like living in the countryside most, I'm happy living in a big city because there's enough happening that it makes up for the absence of green places, but I'm unhappy living in a small city which is what I'm currently doing. If/when I finish training I'm moving to a big city and I'm excited about it because there are queer communities, there's a pagan community, there's a polyamory/non-monogamy community - basically there's a lot of scope for finding my people. In the city I'm in at the moment though... There's one weekly LGBTQ social group that's arranged by the local mental health trust but nothing for the rest of it.

Thinking about it, what I'm really saying is that big cities come with a 'search by interest' function!
